We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the game of golf and has a strong work ethic.
This position is responsible for our overall golf operations.
You would be working with our current tenured Golf Manager who organizes and runs our leagues, provides a great experience to all golfers by being friendly and accomodating and who has the passion for making the Arrowhead golf experince a great one for every golfer.
Our ideal candidate would be an experienced Golf Manager in a previous position or a Sports Management student or graduate who's looking for a career in Golf Operations.
You can make our golf program your own by using your experience, creativity and business acumen to grow our annual rounds and tournaments.
The ideal candidate should have strong organization, communication/interpersonal skills and overall strong intuitive leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily golf operations Manage golf attendant staff to provide the highest level of customer service Oversee the reservation system, starting, monitoring, and pace of play Responsible for implementing and maintaining our Social Media for our golf course.
Responsible for bringing in new golf tournaments by actively marketing our facility using various platforms.
Responsible for bringing in new league business by actively marketing using various platforms.
Oversee golf car fleet while ensuring proper maintenance and recordkeeping Responsible for implementing new golf promotions with GM/Owners approval.
Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and supervise all golf department staff Track and verify all players and guests, green fees, golf cars, handicap fees Develop and manage an innovative tournament program, group outings, and leagues that service all customer segments Attend staff meetings as scheduled by management and schedule staff meetings with golf operations personnel Update and maintain golf shop policies and procedures Maintain safety standards and safety equipment within OSHA requirements Oversee the administration of the golf handicap program, where applicable.
Eventually responsible for the financial and operational performance of the golf shop operations and golf services (Not at first) Ensure the proper storage, safety, and cleaning of golf equipment Administer the Rules of Golf and educate staff.
Develop, maintain, update, and utilize customer database Work closely with all department heads to achieve the goals and objectives of the facility Maintain a close working relationship with the Golf Course Superintendent and provide advice on course playability and tournament set up Candidate must be proficient in Recruiting, Interviewing and hiring all staff.
Qualifications:
Must have ability to manage daily operations and manage staff Has passion for the game of golf Must have strong service orientation Must be proficient in the use of Google Office Suite.
Must have strong business aptitude Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented Must have exceptional interpersonal skills Working Conditions:
Employee must be able to lift/handle up to 30 lbs occasionally Work extended hours during the golf and holiday season Work weekends and holidays Work 45-50 hours per week during the golf season Physical activity including long periods of standing, walking, bending Moderate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, pollen, dust, mechanical and electrical hazards.
