About the Role:
As a core member of our Transportation team, you will be expected to:
Provide assistance to the Transportation Department in the day-to-day functions of the departmentScheduling of delivery appointments, transportation invoice creation and reconciliation, data entry for contracted deliveries, and generalized administrative supportSupports the production of safe, high-quality products and team member safety.

This is a hourly/non-exempt position.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; A.
S.
degree preferred1-3 years' experience in a transportation/logistics administrative support position preferredProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to organize and manage multiple priorities while working in a fast-paced environmentMaintain high level of professionalismAbility to adapt to everchanging technology and environment Essential Duties:
Input outside freight customer deliveries and pickups along with appointments into our dispatch load board.
Match daily freight bills to load sheets and assign to driversEnter daily intercorporate freight charges for internal moves.
Ability to manage accounts receivable.
Ensures prompt and accurate recording of payments to customer accounts.
Research and address unapplied and unallocated invoices.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies to ensure that the AR balances are accurately reported on a monthly basis.
Collaborate with the Credit Analyst to resolve unapplied payments of Transportation invoices.
Monitor daily email box and address inquiries timely and accuratelyOther duties and projects as requiredWhy Perry's?
